HAPPYneuron is partner of the scientific conference on cognitive remediation in New York

On June 6th 2014 in New York was held the 17th annual conference on “Cognitive Remediation in Psychiatry”. This international conference, organized by the Columbia University, brings together researchers, physicians, organizations and companies from all around the world.

HAPPYneuron is proud to have taken part in this event and in discussions on various topics relating to social and cognitive remediation for people with psychiatric disorders.

The event’s program included presentations by researchers on their experiences and research findings about cognitive remediation, themed workshops, training on remediation, and many poster presentations on current and future research.

Chris Bowie, professor and researcher at Queens University in Canada, presented the preliminary results of a recent study using our tools as part of a program to help people with schizophrenia in their professional lives.

Isabelle Amado from the Saint-Anne hospital in Paris, was also awarded a prize entitled “Science to Practice” for her invaluable contribution to cognitive remediation and its expansion in France, Europe and internationally.

Many workshops were also held, and SBTpro was mentioned and recognized as one of the essential tools for cognitive remediation.
